Biscotti & Amaretti

No Italian meal is complete unless it ends with a rich, aromatic espresso or a frothy cappuccino and an accompanying sweet biscuit. Biscotti (or "cantuccini" as they are sometimes called) and amaretti are thus the perfect end to a good meal.

Crunchy and sweet, with a distinctive almond taste, Rita Farhi amaretti are delicious with a cup of coffee. They also make a wonderful accompaniment to ice cream and can be crumbled and used to give texture to mousses and fruit desserts. The only limit is your imagination!

Biscotti—so named because they are twice-baked to give them their characteristic crunchy, dry texture—are made to be dunked. They're delicious with a latte or cappuccino, but for a true taste of Italy, try dunking them in a glass of chilled Vin Santo.
