Our bonbonnières, filled with dark chocolate coffee beans, were inspired by a European tradition from centuries ago, where the host of a celebration would offer their guests a small box (or a bonbonnière) made from porcelain, crystal, or silver, containing delicacies made from sugar. Given out at special events such as weddings, christenings and birthdays, they were designed to bestow good luck on the guests. Rita Farhi Bonbonnières are made from papier mâché and hand-painted, creating a beautiful and truly unique gift.
