Our bonbonnières were inspired by a European tradition from centuries ago, where the host of a celebration offered their guests a little box (or a bonbonnière) made from porcelain, crystal or silver, containing delicacies made from sugar. Given out at special events such as weddings, christenings and birthdays, they were designed to bestow good luck on the guests. Rita Farhi Bonbonnières are made from papier mâché and hand painted in Kashmir, India creating a beautiful and truly unique gift.
